Xoco’s Next Pop-up Dinner at Revolution Brewing: Tix on Sale Now!

Maybe you’ve heard about these incredible Yucatan pop-up dinners we’ve been throwing at breweries across the city.

Maybe you were even lucky enough to attend our first throw-down at Half Acre Beer Company, or to nab tickets for our event at Evanston’s Temperance Beer Co., which sold out instantly.

Well, friends, we’re doing it again.

This time, we’re headed to Revolution Brewing for an evening of spicy tacos, good friends and some of the best beer in the city.

The event takes place 6 p.m. on May 7 at Revolution’s Kedzie Tap Room, 3340 N. Kedzie Ave.

We’ll be rolling out a three-course dinner: sikil pak (Mexican pumpkinseed dip), cochinita pibil tacos (slow-roasted suckling pig, black beans, pickled onions, habanero salsa, homemade tortillas) and coconut rice pudding. (Note: A vegetarian option will be available at the event, too.)

Revolution, meanwhile, will kick things off with a welcome cocktail made with Rosa Hibiscus Ale, jicama, lime and passion fruit, and head brewer Jim Cibak will discuss some of his suggested beer pairings for each course. They include:

– Sikil Pak with Fist City (hoppy, drinkable pale ale)
– Cochinita Pibil with Chicago Smoke (smoky German style Rauchbier lager)
– Coconut Rice Pudding with Straight Jacket  (barrel-aged barleywine)

We’re looking forward to another evening of cold craft beer, delicious Mexican food and good company. We’d really like you to join us.

The $40 ticket includes the welcome cocktail, three-course dinner and three Revolution beers. Tickets are available here.
