INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ½ ounce mezcal
  • .75 – 1 ½ ounce Campari (depending on the sweet/bitter balance your prefer)
  • .75 – 1 ½ ounce sweet vermouth (depending on the sweet/bitter balance your prefer)
  • 3 dashes orange bitters
  • Strip of orange peel

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix all ingredients in a beaker with ice and stir for 20 seconds.  Strain into an old fashioned glass and add ice if desired.  Express the oil from the orange peel into the drink by squeezing it colored side down over the glass, then twist the strip of peel and place in the glass as a garnish.
